The days of middle school and high school "metal mouth" are all but gone, thanks to a host of new, more aesthetic and fashion-conscious options for straightening your teeth. In the "old days," teens that needed orthodontic work were faced with only one option – metal mouth. .But thanks to innovations in technology and the recent wave of celebrities undergoing treatment, orthodontics may be becoming cool. Teenagers today have more options than ever before, from traditional metal braces and colored bands to less noticeable clear and ceramic brackets – or the truly high-tech, removable option Invisalign. Invisalign is a method of straightening teeth using a series of clear, almost invisible, removable Aligners. Invisalign combines the doctor's clinical treatment plan with proprietary 3-D, computer-generated software to make these sets of unique, custom-made Aligners that move teeth in very precise increments.I have been a certified Invisalign Provider since 1999. 1. Indeed very innovative! I really liked the fact that there are a lot of emerging options that various individuals can resort to. Invisalign for one, is a good set of aligners. They seem to be a lot more comfortable than the metal types since they can be removed by the user during meals.

In my brother's case, cosmetic dentistry (Chicago and other places) have been very beneficial since it was able to help him restore his smile. HE is a football player and he got injured badly during one game. Good thing a cosmetic dentist, Chicago based, was able to solve his problem.

Looking forward to more posts about the latest innovations in dentistry. Thanks Dr. Petrol!
